My girls were born in China and grew up in the USA, and I think it’s amazing to have a mix of cultures.

So, I started teaching my two daughters Chinese.

We soon found out that other families wanted to learn the language too, so we opened a small club in 2020. We brought it to an AMI-certified Montessori school as an after-school activity for the kids. And in 2024, we launched the Blossom Chinese Club!

I love the Montessori method because it’s all about self-motivated growth for kids. It respects each child’s unique way of learning. So, our classes are Montessori-style, with lots of classified cards and movable characters to help kids learn new words. We also include fun games to make learning a group activity. And we use songs to create an immersive environment. We want our kids to learn a new language and have a blast doing it.

We don’t just teach the Chinese language, we also share the culture. We have fun little comics featuring our panda, Huahua. We’ve even corched Huahua and have other cool stuff in store. We do lots of interesting events, like summer camps in China, language partner project with students in China, and celebrating the Lunar New Year.
